We head back south but take different roads. After the Thingvellir Park we will head to the hot springs river at Reykjadalur where we will camp. We will need to carry camping stuff in the 2 rucksacks up the valley for about 2 miles. This should take about an hour.
GUESSTIMATION: 6.5 hours and 245 miles driving. 3 hours looking at stuff not including hot springs.
